Nick started the VeraLynk IT Support Team in 2006 in response to the need for concierge level IT services in the Coachella Valley. He received his certification from Microsoft in Computer Systems Engineering and Administration in 2006. Prior to his certification, Nick received his training at the University of California at Riverside in Systems Engineering. In addition Nick received a Bachelor’s of Science in both Business Economics and Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara.A native of the Coachella Valley and with a background in healthcare, Nick understands the needs and dynamics of Coachella Valley businesses. Supporting a wide range of industries from healthcare to hospitality, he along with his staff has the experience and reputation you can trust with your most vital information.

 

Tim Baker

Lead Engineer

Tim first entered the IT industry repairing personal computers and printers back in 1997. In 2000, he was certified by Microsoft and began working in the manufacturing industry as a technical specialist, meeting the many challenges faced in production environments. Tim has completed IT projects throughout the US and in Asia, and no he’s focused on serving the desert communities that have become his home.

 

Bruce Norman

IT/Computer Trainer

For the last 13 years, Bruce has been teaching children 8-13 years old a variety of computer and information technology skills. He currently teaches middle school students in a computer lab with 35 computers at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Indio. He teaches his students Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, etc): how to research information on the internet; multimedia & graphic applications: basic digital imaging and video authoring as well as specialty programs like Photoshop, Pinnacle and Moviemaker. He also teaches a basic computer hardware class where 8th grade students learn basic repair and troubleshooting. Before his teaching career he worked as a youth director at St. Margarets Episcopal Church in Palm Desert. Bruce has been a desert resident for most of his life except when he attended college at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks and graduate studies at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley. He lives in Indio with his wife who is an elementary school teacher.
